Preparing for the VTNE

I am currently preparing for the VTNE for the second time, with only on the job experience,and this book. It has really helped me learn large animal and improve on my weak points. I feel very confident in taking this next test with the help of co workers and this AMAZING Book!! I will recommend it to anyone looking to take the Exam or just learn, there is amazing information in this book and well worth the money spent!

Textbook gets an A, Workbook gets a C

I bought this textbook and workbook to study independently for the VTNE. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The textbook is comprehensive and full of great information. However, the workbook does not come with answers to the questions and puzzles. You must register on the Evolve website, and you must be a student or instructor to gain access to the workbook answers and extra website materials. Students are only given access to answers for the odd numbered workbook questions, and I have found several mistakes in the answers.

A lot of information

This book contains a LOT of information. No joke - it's a lot of reading but it is extremely helpful. Purchased this book for one of my vet tech classes and I think i was one of the few people that did the actual readings assigned. You can only learn so much 'on the job' but this book helps to support why things are done the way they are and it gives excellent references and examples to help explain things. Without this book, I would not have become the veterinary technician I am today. I took the course over 2 years ago and I still reference the book for pertinent information.
